Unlike western garden hand-tools the Niwashi Traditional Garden Tool uses an angled blade that cuts into the soil as you pull it towards yourself. Using a pulling and hammer like action (rather than pushing and jarring action), this tool is much easier on your wrists than others. The sharp blade makes light work of breaking up compacted garden beds, removing stubborn weeds and turning over soil for planting.
Once you've tried it, you will be hooked. If you haven't used one yet, just ask someone who has.
Comes in Right handed models as well as Left handed models.
